Smoothie bowls are probably one of my favorite breakfasts to make. It is ridiculously easy and incredibly cute! The recipe I used this weekend was strawberry, peach and pineapple but you can substitute any frozen fruit you want. Really these are as easy as poring your favorite smoothie in a bowl and making it pretty with fun toppings. This is the one I used this weekend.
- 2 cups frozen fruit- strawberry, peach and pineapple
- 1 cup milk
- About 1/2 cup plain or vanilla Greek yogurt (I like to use the Oikos cups as they are basically pre-measured for you)
Put everything in a blender and blend until smooth. Poor smoothie into a bowl and top with what ever topping you would like. For this recipe I like to use fresh peaches, chia seeds, and toasted coconut. You can use anything you want! Granola, nuts, chocolate, and other fresh fruit also make wonderful toppings.
