Bachelorette Party

For my bachelorette party we flew down to Nashville. Did you know it is the number one destination for bachelorette parties in America. I had no idea until we saw seven different bridal parties when we went to dinner, on a Thursday! But it made the trip so fun, the girls where all so excited for each other and so much fun to be out with.

Each of us was flying in from different parts of the country so after we met up at the air port we got our car we headed to the house. We used Air B and B – it was the first time any of us had used one and it was so perfect! They was enough room to spread out along with a kitchen which made a big difference. We stayed about 10 minutes from down town in Inglewood. The location was perfect- it wasn’t more than a 15 minute drive to get to any of the place on our list.

Our first night we did happy hour on the top level of The Dinner down town and then a pitcher of pineapple margaritas at Backersfield. These girls are some of my favorite people in the world and it was so fun catching up with them.

We toured the Belle Mead plantation where champion race horses had been raised for years. The home was so beautiful and the perfect way to spend an afternoon! The plantation now also has a winery and they have tastings that come with a guided tour. The had the best red wine!! After touring Belle Mead we headed to the gulch for lunch. They had the greatest shopping and restaurants. The gulch has a bunch of fun murals for pictures too!

One of the greatest parts of our trip was touring the Grand Ole Opry. It was so amazing to see all of the history and be on the same stages as so many great artists. The tour includes all of the dressing rooms, backstage, and you actually get to stand on the stage.

My maid of honor picked up these adorable tattoos and they were so fun! We had already been out the other nights we had been in town so we knew exactly were we wanted to go. We did a lot of roof top bars which were so fun! Tootsies had the best live music, it was such a fun place to be. Every night we always seamed to end up at Honky Tonk Central. All of the bars and music were amazing but those were defiantly our favorite.

On our last morning we went down and checked out bicentennial park. We took an Uber down town. After driving down town on our first day we Ubered down every other day. By the time we paid to park the car we broke even and avoided the headache. After checking out the park we did brunch at Sky Blue Cafe. It is a small local place that can have a bit of a wait but the coffee alone is worth it.

Over all it was just the best trip with the best people! I am so happy we got celebrate and a girls trip was the best way to do that!!
